Just Add Ink #638 | Choose Two

This week over at Just Add Ink we want you to choose two things to feature on your card - candles, cake, or celebration. Which will you choose? Click the image below to see the design team's inspiration and enter your own project.

I went for candles and celebration. I went with a clean and simple design and made my candle the star of the show.

I wanted a candle like no other so I watercoloured it! Take a look how in my video below (oops, I meant to make it in portrait for my Instagram page and forgot, so I've uploaded it here as well - be sure to select the highest quality for the best experience. I used Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana and Tahitian Tide.

For my cardstock I used Calypso Coral and Grey Granite, and of course, Watercolour paper.

My sentiment is from the versatile Charming Sentiments stamp set. A great addition to your stamp collection. Take a look in the video for my tip on embossing it so that it stands out on this CAS (clean and simple) card.
