Thank you

Thanks Kindly

I just came across a card I made a while ago and didn't share with you.  Opps!  The Designer Series Paper is retired now but you could easily replicate the card with a different DSP of your choice.

It's a fab little card to produce in bulk if you are sending out a stack of thank yous.  Don't forget to add a touch of bling to the card with some enamel dots in a coordinating colour.

Rainbow for Addicted to CAS #109

Thursday, April 20, 2017

I've created another card for a blog challenge today.  This one is for the Addicted to CAS challenge #109 with the theme "rainbows."

I have a few baby cards to send to friends and I thought a little rainbow of onesies would fit the theme perfectly.

The stamp is from the Every Occasion set which is retiring soon (so I've ticked another one off my list of stamp sets to showcase before they retire).  It's a set that is easy to miss when you flick through the catalogue but which has so many fantastic little stamps it in.  Every time I use it I have at least one Stampin' Up! friend ask which set it is.

Then I set too and fussy cut each of the little suits out, used my piercing tool and mat to make little holes in them before threading through some linen thread.

Here's everything you need to make this card yourself.

Card Challenge

I'm here for GDP Challenge #082

Monday, April 17, 2017

This time of year is always full of mixed feelings.  I'm super excited about all the new product about to be released, and sad to say goodbye to a stack of my stamp sets.  So my goal is to use all them at least once before I finally let them go.

Today I'm highlighting the Fresh Fruit stamp set and it's coordinating DSP, Fruit Stand.  I'm also participating in the Global Design Project Challenge #082 for the first time in months.  This time it's a layout challenge:

I've used a banner of the gold glimmer cardstock to bring a subtle bit of bling to the card.  The pear itself is watercoloured in using a mixture of Pear Pizzaz and Daffodil Deight to give more of a "Williams Pear" kind of look (my favourite pear).
