Just Add Ink #953 | Colour Combo

Oh I do love a colour challenge and this week's pick is a beauty. Bright happy and party like! Well, I didn't go down the party route with my card (but I was very tempted to), instead I played to their deep and almost sultry side. Let me know what you think!

This simple card was so fun to make. I even filmed a little video to show you just how easy and fun it is! But you'll have to check out my Instagram feed to see it. I created the background using blending brushes and masking tape (I highly recommend Gina K's Masking Sheets). When it was dry (it MUST be completely dry - I recommend leaving it a few hours even) I stamped my flower and then heat embossed over it to make it shine against the bold matt background. Doesn't it stand out beautifully?
