Just Add Ink #580 | Colour Challenge

Ohh I do love a good colour challenge and this week over at Just Add Ink we are all about these three stunning colours.  What do you think?  Do you see Christmas in those colours?  I sure do!

Come and join in the fun!  Click on the image above to be taken to the challenge page and see the cards my fellow design team members have made for your inspiration.  Below are three from me (I couldn't stop at one!) AND a video tutorial.

Check out my video tutorial at the end of this post to see me make up the card above.  It's easy and you'll love getting to colour in a bit.  And look how different the colour of this looks to my third card even though I used the same colour combination.  Sentiment above is from the For Unto Us stamp set.

I love this second card and how pretty the image looks embossed in white on the Evening Evergreen background.  I've kept this card very simple without any fanfare so that it doesn't take away from that lovely detail of the embossed image.  Do you like the Frayed Ribbon on this one?

This last card isn't too dissimilar to the first.  I've stamped in Evening Evergreen this time and clear embossed over the top so that when you see the card up close the outline glints a little in the light.  The sentiment is embossed onto black and is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.  I did add a little bling to this card in the form of gilded gems.

Lastly, as you'll have heard in the video tutorial, I'm getting my Christmas cards ready. I'll be sending out cards as a thank you to everyone who "shouts me a coffee" and supports my work - yes, even if you live overseas!  Just send me a message with your postal address.

Happy crafting,
