Sponge Daubing Delicate Dahlias

Do you ever look at the images in the catalogue for inspiration for your card making?  If not, then I encourage you to start! There are lots of beautiful projects and they make a fantastic starting point when you are crafting with a product for the first time.

For my card today I CASEd (Copy and Selectively Edited) the project in the catalogue that accompanied the Delicate Dahlia's stamp set.  This means that I changed bits of it up but drew the majority of my inspiration from the original.

Layering elements on a card isn't my strong suit so I really appreciate learning more and getting a chance to practice in a way that will turn out well.

Aren't those flowers divine?  I coloured them by adding ink with a sponge dauber, but I can't wait to get at them with my Blends soon.

Take a look at how I achieved the ink and how I made the whole card up in my video below.  This is the shorter version of my Facebook live from a Saturdays ago.

If you don't have all of our current catalogues and live in Australia send me a message, I'd be happy to post you them.

Happy crafting,
