Die Cut Piecing with Lots of Heart

I picked the Lots of Heart bundle to make up my cards and had to stop myself at just three designs because the ideas kept flowing.  So much mileage out of just ONE of the die pieces!!  To help you see how I created the inset hearts I have a video tutorial for you to check out down below.

The hearts in the card above are inlaid into the black cardstock for a flush finish.  All the steps for making this are in the video tutorial. Then with the left over pieces I made the card below this time popping the hearts up off the page.  I think the black border around the hearts looks amazing and I will definitely be adding lots more of these to my future projects.  (Do you recognise the little snail from the Snail Mail suite?  I can't get away from such cuteness!)

Lastly I wanted to see what a coloured border and plain heart would look like and made the card below.

Here's my video tutorial to make up the first card - the dimensions and supply list are just below it.  If you haven't subscribed to me there yet please do!  You can find my channel here.
