Timeless Pineapples

Quick post tonight to share a tropical hello with you all because it's summer here in Australia and there are pineapples everywhere in our greengrocers!

The layout of this card is easy to replicate - you can see what I've done easily enough (you'll see the addition of Wink of Stella to the Pineapple Leaves and the gold paint splatters in the photo below). The tricky part came in colouring the vellum background. It was my first time using rubbing alcohol and ink and let's just say I need some more practice before I film a video and share it - I got ink EVERYWHERE! A-hem. So, video on that technique to come, especially because (spoiler alert!!) there is gold leaf coming in the new Mini Catalogue going live on 5 January which will look PERFECT with this background.
