My top five from 2020 - which is your favourite?

As the year comes to an end I enjoy reflecting back over my creative projects over the year.  Cards I'd forgotten having made are rediscovered, stamp sets that retired are fondly recalled, and then there are the techniques I'd discovered or mastered that have lain dormant for a while that I now want to use again.

Here are my top five projects.  Which one did you like best?  (Or perhaps there's one you loved that isn't listed here?)  Let me know in the comments below!

Top Fun Card

Placing all those little hearts and making them fit into the circle with some high, and some low was a really fine (albeit slightly time consuming!) project. The finished result is clean lines, black accents, and a card that could be given at a wedding, to a Valentine's, or for an anniversary.

Top Layout

I was so taken by this layout that I created quite a few cards using it.  This one in particular is my favourite with the bold splash of Magenta Madness.

Top Christmas Design

This card actually started out as a birthday card, can you believe it?  But as soon as I got those flowers onto that Cinnamon Cider all I could think of was how much like an Australian Christmas it was.  So I changed up the sentiment and made my favourite card of the whole year!

Top New Technique

I learnt a new watercolour technique  and used it on this card to colour the peony in.  You actually stamp the image first and then add water.  Want to try it?  Which is super fun to do!  I made a video tutorial to help you with step by step instructions and also how to make up this card.

Top Video Tutorial

I was feeling uncharacteristically confident one day and made this card completely from scratch without doing a draft run first in a Facebook live video.  What was I thinking?  But do you know what?  That card was my most popular by far this year with more Facebook and YouTube views than any other projects for 2020.  I must say, I'm pretty proud of it.

What a great crafting year!  Thank you so much for supporting me by following my posts, commenting, watching my videos, buying Stampin' Up! through me, sending me cards, entering my competitions.  You are what has made it a fabulous year.

Happy end of 2020,
