2x2x2 Christmas Treat Boxes

I have something super fun for you today. Little treat boxes that you can send to people in the mail because....they fold FLAT! And best of all there is no assembly required at the other end, they just fold in the flaps and hey presto, instant box.

I've created a video tutorial for you and included a link further below so that you can see just how QUICK and EASY these are to do. You can whip up a batch in no time at all.

I created a few different designs to show you some possibilities for decorating these boxes once you've made them. This one above with the tag is the easiest to post because without any trinkets it will fold completely flat.

I think this one is my favourite though, with the little star and the blue and silver colour pallet.

But perhaps you'd prefer the one below which has festive little trees and a popped up sentiment (this is the box I made in the video tutorial).

Or how about this little one which has a cute little sounding bell on it?

Best of all they lie flat! So you can post them to friends and family with your Christmas cards (perhaps not with the little bell on it, but any of the other designs would work just fine).

Measurements

Cardstock: 7 x 8 1/4"

Score on the long edge at: 2", 4", 6", 8"

Score on the short edge at: 1/2", 2 1/2", 4 1/2", 6 1/2"

Cut away the sections shaded in so that you have a template like this one below.

Here's the finished project folded flat and ready to post.

Decorate in whatever way you like!
