Happy Birthday Bird

Oops, I made these cards earlier in the year and forgot to post them. Yes, I fussy cut all those branches of birds out, but I definitely think it was worth the sore hand afterwards!

Once I had coloured in the image and fussy cut it, I stamped my adhered it to a Rectangle Stitched Shape and allowed it to hand over the edges so that it would kind of float on the card. I stamped my sentiment from the Here's a Card stamp set and finished off with some of those enchanting gold Gilded Gems.

The sentiments from the stamp set are fabulous though and they would fit this card very well also (I just never seem to have enough birthday cards so that's what I tend to favour for my sentiments!)

Although (because we're a few months on from when they were made) you can no longer purchase the pretty designer series paper that I used here, I think the design would go wonderfully with the 2020-2022 In-Colour DSP, or the Subtles DSP (both below).
