Misty Moonlight is definitely a new favourite colour of mine. I paired it with Petal Pink and Pool Party today so that I could play along with the Global Design Project's colour challenge this week.
This card uses the Ornate Thanks stamp set and the Ornate Layers dies. (Pssst! Buy them together as a bundle and get 10% off!) It's easy to make up and you could even create a whole bunch in different colours to make up as a gift pack for a someone.
I first die cut the pattern on the bottom. To make sure that it didn't slip around once I had it in place I used some washi tape to temporarily stick it down. Once I knew then what my white space was going to be I used the Stamparatus to stamp my sentiment. This allowed me to get the exact positioning I wanted but also to double stamp the stentiment so that it was bold and perfect on the page.
I layered up on some Pool Party cardstock, and then created two loops of the Petal Pink ribbon for a little pop of colour off to the side. Once I'd attached these to the panel I raised the whole thing up on dimensionals before finishing off with a few rhinestones.
Be sure to pop over to the GDP's challenge #249 page here and see the inspiration from the talented design team, and some of this week's other entries.
Happy crafting,
