Grandma's House is a stamp set that I originally overlooked because I have no use for any of the sentiments. However, upon a second look I saw how GORGEOUS the picture stamps in the set are and I just had to have it! It makes a perfect happy new home card like the one I've created here. I coloured up my image using blends and layered it on some Basic Grey cardstock to match my base card colour.

A great design tip is to use create a sentiment piece as a focal point for your card and then draw that out to make a matching background. This stamp doesn't have a matching picture stamp for the one I've used. No matter! I used the masking technique and created a background with just part of my original stamp. To finish off I added a few little hearts to fill in the gaps.
The sentiment for this card comes from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set - it's such a versatile set, if you don't have it, definitely grab yourself one! I created my own banner for it using my Paper Snips.
