Die Cut Hearts

I'm back with some more cards using the Detailed Hearts Dies.  Simple but effective use of placement and varied heights allow the little hearts to do all the work in these cards.

In these first two cards I choose four pieces of coloured cardstock and ran them through my die cutting machine once each with the Detailed Hearts Dies.  Then, using the left over template that cutting them out created I set about sticking the back down on to my card.

The smallest hearts are stuck down on the page, the medium hearts and the largest hearts are all popped up on dimensionals.  Then I randomly picked hearts to add a touch of Wink of Stella to.

The sentiment is from the Label Me Bold stamp set.

My next card uses the template left by the cut out hearts and adds back in hearts of a different colour to create this pretty congratulations card perfect for an engagement or wedding.

Lastly I thought I'd use that template to create a totally different kind of card.  I lay it down on my base cardstock and used my sponge brayer to add some Rich Razzleberry ink.

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set.

By cutting the inked up piece of cardstock to allow space for the sentiment I also made the piece fit the page better so that there was an even border all round.

I hope these three layouts have given you inspiration to use your dies in three new ways and see lots of potential for exciting new projects and cards.  You can purchase them in my shop here.

Happy crafting,
Fiona x
