Ink It! Stamp It! Blog Hop: Magnolia Happiness

This A5 card is for a colleague who is leaving in a few week's time and is large enough to hold the farewell wishes of everyone in the office.

I just love how our Designer Series Paper have detailed sides and then reverse sides that are suitable as backgrounds. This gorgeous Petal Pink coloured paper is from the Magnolia Lane DSP pack. Have a look at the other stunning designs that come in this pack.

I layered on top of it a piece of Basic Black cardstock, a strip of Old Olive cardstock, and my sentiment piece which I die cut from the Magnolia Memories Dies. The sentiment itself is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

The crowning glory of this card is that huge magnolia stamp - don't you just LOVE how it reigns over the card without overly dominating! Remember this is an A5 size card (so twice as big as a regular card). I coloured it in using my Blends: Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Bronze, and Petal Pink.

And yippee skippy, I didn't have to fussy cut it because there is a coordinating die! Take a look at all you get in the bundle:
