Free as a Bird for #GDP221

I always love the chance to play along with a card challenge, so I'm excited to start off 2020 with a fun challenge from the Global Design Project.  It's a colour challenge so the only colours I can use are:

Beautiful Christmas colours so I'm carrying on the theme of Christmas (after all, it isn't over until the 6th January!) with a thank you card using the Free as a Bird stamp set that I'm going to send to my hosts from Christmas Day.  All the instructions for making this card can be found in my video:

This gorgeous set is front and centre on my card as well as providing the background stamped onto the die cut from the Rectangular Stitched Shapes set (I used the largest die for this card).

My cardbase in Very Vanilla measures 5.5" x 4.25" (I've used the standard US size rather than the typical Australian A5 card size because it fits with the rectangular stitched shapes so much better).

The card is finished off with Burlap Ribbon.

Happy crafting,
Fiona x
