Adding a slight shadow around an image can help give it dimension on the page.  That's what I've done in these cards to the postman and his parcels. 


To break up the white of the circle and the base cardstock I also added a light shading to the edge of the circle.  It's not so pronounced as if I'd used a sponge dauber - I was after a subtler look.  (Although, it's much more visible to the naked eye than the camera I'm afraid.)

I'm getting good at remembering to decorate the inside of my cards!
