Blends on Crumbcake Tutorial

It's nice to mix up card designs by choosing a background cardstock that is not Whisper White, however, it's difficult to get colours to pop off the page in the same way.  I've got a neat trick for you to get Blends looking more vibrant on Crumbcake cardstock.

In my video below I have also explained my suggested card dimensions when layering the Rectangular Stitched Shapes framelits like I've done in this card here.

The video below also gives step by step instructions on achieving this bolder look and for suggested Blends colours for the skin tone, water, and hair in this stamped image.

What you'll need if you'd like to make this card yourself:
Crumbcake cardstock (folded card = 5 1/2" x 8 1/4" scored in half), the largest of the Rectangle Stitched Shapes framelits, Beautiful You stamp set, Black Memento ink, Whisper White watercolour pencil, Blends of your colour choice, Stampin' Dimensionals.
