Talk about a fun card to make up! I spied Gaynor Joyce making these up in a video and I just had to a have a go myself. I love them! But read on for a neat trick I can't wait to do on more cards...
The background is made by off stamping images in Crumb Cake and then getting a black marker to do the little dots to fill in the blank areas. Comes up well, don't you think?
I couldn't decide between Merry Merlot and Night of Navy, so I made up one in each!
The trick I was telling you about is to go around the stamped sentiment Happy Birthday (from the One for All stamp set) with the light Smoky Slate Blends pen - it gives the sentiment so much more presence on the card it's incredible. I admit I was skeptical at first but wow, was I surprised. Give it a go!
