Ink It! Stamp It! Design Team Blog Hop - New Catalogue

I'm back from holidays and soooo excited to be crafting with the new catalogue products.  Today my card is part of the Ink It! Stamp It! Design Team Blog Hop showcasing lots and LOTS of beautiful new items from the newly released annual catalogue.

How pretty is the "thank you" calligraphy writing on this card?  As soon as I saw the Calligraphy Essentials stamp set in the new catalogue I knew I just had to have it!  Now!  But wait, there's more!  (Heehee.)  It's also paired with a kit, but I'll wait to show you that and let you enjoy the blog hop today.

On top of the background text I added a disc of vellum and a flower from the Perennial Birthday stamp set which I coloured in with markers.  Using markers to colour gives a softer stamped effect which is why the Power Pink of the flower looks lighter and more dainty than in the text of the Thank You where I used the marker straight onto the page.   Then a touch of bling with some Gold Metallic Thread.

Have a look now at everyone else's exciting creations (and a big welcome to our new international designers!  Jumping up and down in happiness to have you here!)
Blog hop line up:

Here's everything you need to make this card yourself.
Just click on any item to be taken straight to it in my store.

 Happy crafting,
Fiona
