White Coloured Pansies

Tuesday, January 31, 2017

Here's a technique that'll make a good tutorial so look out for one in the coming weeks.  How to colour onto Crumb Cake cardstock.  It's so easy and looks really effective so it's definitely one to add to your list of techniques.

This card has half a front so that when it's open the flowers sit along the edge of the front flap.

I used the gorgeous 2016-2018 In Colours for this card.  I am so in love with those five colours.  Which is your favourite?

Snipped Fairy

Saturday, January 28, 2017

This is a hard card to photograph so I hope you can get a good picture of what I have created.  It's a tri-fold card with the left hand fold having the fairy (which I snipped around) and the right hand fold having the designer series paper.  Open the card and the inside is blank for your own message.

Here's an angle to give you a better look at the tri-fold.

Block Stamp Watercolouring Tutorial

Wednesday, January 25, 2017

Stampin' Up! have released watercolour pencils and I am in love!  They are so lovely and easy to use and I can't wait to get stuck into some more designs with them.

I've created a tutorial for you which shows how to use the pencils to colour in a block image to give that image a different look.

This one is really easy to follow along with and you will love the calm that the colouring in brings with it.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Valerie Moody

Sunday, January 22, 2017

I am so excited about the latest Crazy Crafters blog hop because it's with Valerie Moody who is just a sensationally talented crafter and so so lovely.  Our theme is to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of her projects.  Here's the the one of hers that I've chosen:

And here is my take on it:

And one for the guys:

I love how the circles can be placed differently on the page to change up the same design.   All the materials I used are listed down below.  Don't forget that during Sale-A-Bration (until 31 March 2017) you get to choose a free item for every $90 you spend.  Click here to find out more.
