Candy-striper card

A few days ago I posted a get-well card for my friend's father.  While I was making it I was reminded by the Watermelon Wonder stripes in the Fruit Stand DSP of an old American term for hospital volunteers, "candy-striper."  So I made another card still with a get-well theme in mind. (Hopefully I won't have to send it to anyone anytime soon!  But cards like these are always good to have on hand for those unexpected hospital visits.)

Fiona's Notes: Sometimes to get the best out of a sentiment it's necessary to add a bit of a finishing touch.  On this card I got out a ruler, lined it up with the stamp, and made some dots.  It will also help me when writing the card to say what the purpose of the card is for "Just a note...to say that I hope you feel better."

Stamps: Flowering Flourishes  Ink: Watermelon Wonder  Papers: Whisper White thick, Whisper White, Pear Pizazz, Fruit Stand DSP  Accessories: Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today,
