Just a quick post for you today because I have been very consumed with my university studies this week being the last of the semester. (Have I told you I'm a student? Yep, I sure am! I returned to university four years ago and it's been a hard slog but a wonderful one. I'll tell you some more about it in time, I'm sure, becuase I still have another year to go before I graduate. Card making has been one thing which has kept me sane during this time. Thank goodness for creative outlets that are so much fun!)
Today I have highlighted patterned paper which isn't something I use a lot of. I wanted to make a card that I could have on hand for a number of occasions, baptism, praying for you, etc. etc.
The cross is from Papertrey Ink's Everyday Blessing set and I stamped it in SU Blackberry Bliss before restamping with Versmark and clear embossing to make is shine against the patterned paper background. I hand cut it out and popped it up on some stampin dimensionals. After laying the paper on some Blackberry Bliss cardstock I finished it off with a thin ribbon.
Blessings to all those uni and school students sitting exams this week.
