Crazy Crafters' Melbourne Workshop

One of the best things about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is the wonderful group that I am a part of through my "upline" (the demonstrator I signed up with), the Crazy Crafters.

They are from all over Australia and last weekend a few of the Melbourne ones met up for a workshop day which was so much fun.  Here's a couple of others with me, totally ensconced in colouring in for Take home #2!

We made five projects and I tried different techniques as well as products that I have never used before.  I took snaps of the three projects I got to take home.

------

Take home 1:  The background and the butterflies are all stamped here in Blackberry Bliss.  They are "stamped off" which means that they are stamped over and again without reinking creating the lightening of the colour the more you stamp.  So rather than needing four or five inks to make this card, I only used one.

Take home 2: Would you believe that the background on this is black and white Design Series Paper?  I coloured it in with Blendability pens.  Such a great idea!  This way you can make the DSP to match the colours of your project.  So versatile.

Take home 3: I've never used a die that constructs boxes or anything so I was excited to use the Hamburger Box Die for the first time.  Here it has been decorated with a flower die that I stuck together after ink sponging the edges.  This was so much fun to make!

I love the support and the fun that the group gives.  I learnt so much and was able to give some of my own tips to other crafters.  Being a demonstrator is about so much more than the 20% discount it gives you off product!

If you'd like to be part of the Crazy Crafters team send me email to ask me how fionalouisebradley@hotmail.com or if you're all set to go you can click here to join up now!
