Woo hoo, I LOVE to CASE! So the blog hop for my Stampin' Up! tea this month is right up my alley. The trouble I had though was deciding what to CASE from Pinterest, there was just so many cards that caught my eye!
In the end I went with a lovely card by Sylvia Shires. I decided to stay true to "CASE" (Copy And Share Everything) and made the card as close to hers as I could with the materials I had.
I do like it, but I also love to tinker with designs to make them more my own. And so this is the card that I came up with.
The contrast with the kraft cardstock and that it picks up the twine makes me happy! Kraft cardstock makes me happy! How about you?
I used the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set for the sentiment and with my Costal Cabana marker pen I coloured directly onto the stamp so that I only picked up the words and the not the outline of the stamp which I didn't want to use here.
Here's a close up, of the flowers punched out with the coordinating punch for the Petite Petals stamps which are popped up on stampin dimensionals.

ReplyDeleteThese are just delightful, Fiona. I LOOOOOVE kraft cardstock (Crumb Cake is my "go to" neutral!), and it is so beautifully complemented by the sweet little twine bow.
