A Little Birdy Told Me...

The hardest designs to come up with are ones for guys. Right?! It's the birthday of a good male friend of mine in a week's time and I reckon I might just get away with this one, what do you think?

A great idea from Creations with Christina, it uses the super cute For the Birds stamp set and the On Film Framelits.

I die cut the frame in Basic Grey and then again in Whisper White. Taking the middle "off cut" of Whisper White I then slot it into the Basic Grey frame (after all my stamping and colouring) and stuck it together on the back with tape. I popped it after tying some Whisper White twine around it. It's hard to see in the photo but there is a hint of blue on the white cardstock. I used a sponge dauber with some Soft Sky ink to LIGHTLY rub on a bit of colour. Don't go overboard, you just want a HINT of colour. The birds are stamped from the For The Birds set and coloured in with my Stampin' Makers.
